Fish Sandwiches

Level: Easy Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 25-30 minutes Servings: 4


  • 4 (5-ounce) flounder filets
  • 1/2 cup Little River Tartar Sauce
  • 1/3 cup cornmeal
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 2 cups sliced lettuce


  • Preheat oven to 400 Degrees F
  • In a shallow bowl, add cornmeal and all-purpose flour and stir
  • Combine water, salt, pepper and egg in another shallow bowl and stir
  • Dip filets in egg blend and then dip into cornmeal mixture
  • Place filets in baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes in preheated oven
  • Spread Little River Tartar Sauce on hamburger buns
  • Place filets on hamburger buns after baking
  • Add tomato slices and lettuce slices to bread
