As the leaves start to fall, we all think about pulling out our rakes and leaf blowers. But before you do, consider taking the family outside and having each person pick out a couple of leaves that inspire them. After dinner is over pull the leaves out, along with some paper and crayons, markers or colored pencil and encourage your family to get creative. Glue down the leaves and use each leaf as the centerpiece of a drawing, you can use leaves as hair for people, wings for birds, wings for butterflies or moths and all sorts of other animals.
